Final Cut Pro 6 Essential Editing: Navigating the workspace Learning the ins of the FCP workspace By Larry Jordan

Starting with his system for getting organized and ending with final output, Apple Certified Trainer Larry Jordan covers all the details of creating and editing with Final Cut Pro 6 Essential Editing. He provides an in-depth overview of the application and its interface, and demonstrates how to plan, create, edit, and export professional digital video projects.

Navigation among the Final Cut Pro 6 workspace is described in this video. Everything from selecting different windows, moving among your movie sequence, and using your keyboard.

It touches on using the Absolute Timecode reference for moving the playhead to certain points in your sequence. It also shows that the same navigation controls from the timeline are also the same in almost all of the windows inside Final Cut.
